    Hi Pio,
Great post! I love learning about your school day. It sounds like wonderful fun. Your special days and activities sound great. What do you do on the exchange days? I think those are wonderful! My class used to love visiting other schools. We used to visit on email, skype and blogs, as well as do some common projects and then get together once or twice during the year.

At Duchess School, (the last place I taught), most of the kids rode the bus. Our school colors are green and gold. We do not wear uniforms. Our longest break is during our summer ( July and August). We also have breaks at Christmas and Easter, with quite a few long weekends.

Our school has kids from kindergarten to grade 12, so there are amazing things going on at break time. There are lots of sports, as well as clubs for drama, music, school spirit and wellness.

There are so many special events in our school! For grades three and four, my favorites were the Terry Fox run, (Terry Fox is a Canadian hero who ran across Canada in support of Cancer research), Aggie Days, Winter Carnival, St.Patrick’s day / green pancakes. We have so many special events it’s difficult to choose.

I just love Duchess School. It is so much fun to have all the grades in one place, its like a big family.

Thanks for sharing about your school! I am so glad you joined the challenge!

Pio, it’s really cool to hear about someone else. I like taking surveys, especially about school. and it looks like you do too.
